We are all taking turns cooking our kai each night. We have decided to try and grow some vegetables using the seeds and pips from the ones we cook. These are pictures of my daughter Briar looking after her seedlings. Why don’t you give it a go!
All you need are the seeds, some soil from your garden or potting mix and use any used containers to plant them in. (Yogurt pots, egg cartons, empty cans….). Maybe you could experiment by placing them in different spots around your house to see where they grow the best. Research or ask your whānau to help you to find out what seeds need to grow.
Good luck and let us know how you get on!
